This unusual asymmetrical design is made entirely from rattan. The wickerwork uses fine peeled rattan, woven onto a structure of rattan poles. The result is a strong and resilient chair frame which exudes quality, and shows off the sheer craftsmanship of our weavers. Add to this four luxurious feather-filled cushions, and you have a highly individual feel-good chair.
The chairs are available in left and right-handed versions. Together two chairs make a great set, with a special ‘conversation space’ across the two low sides. There is also a symmetrical version of the chair with two low sides, which can be enjoyed on its own, or as a centre piece between the other two. There is also a cosy two-seater sofa and a matching table and footstool. The wood used in the tabletop and shelves is Indonesian pine.
You can choose from a handwoven textile (white) from Indonesia, or a machine washable cotton/linen fabric sourced in the UK (in dahlia red, spice, mahogany and cameo). We can also supply an organic/fair trade-certified cotton from Bishopston Trading. For more details please call or email us.
