This unique chair combines a stunning sculptural design with the innovation of built-in speakers, so you can enjoy surround sound in perfect comfort. The chair itself has sloping high sides to left and right, so the chair literally wraps round you, creating a very personal and intimate space. Perfect for reading and listening to music.
The chair is available as a stand alone piece (£575.00) or with built in speakers and leather ipod holster (£795.00). There is also a sloping footstool (£125) which complements the lines of the chair beautifully.
Materials used
The weaving uses pale banana fibre, which is woven onto a rattan pole frame. Two feather-filled cushions complete the feel-good effect.
For our cushion covers, we offer the following options:
A 60/40 cotton/linen blend called Geneva from Romo Fabrics, which comes in a wide range of colours, and is machine washable at 40 degrees. The current standard options are cameo and fig.
There are then two fairly traded fabrics from India in 100% cotton, which we buy from our partner Chandni Chowk. These are also machine washable (at 30 degrees) and come in two designs:
- a semi-plain handwoven design featuring an overstitched eye or slub effect in a second colour (Naina - 6 colours available)
- a handwoven stripe (Taaru - 6 colours available, from bright pink through to neutral champagne)
